Originating in the mid-1980s, deep house is a more soulful and atmospheric subgenre. It's known for its laid-back tempo, usually between 110 and 125 BPM, and incorporates elements of jazz, funk, and soul. Deep house tracks often feature complex, jazzy chords, smooth basslines, and emotive vocals. The focus is on creating a lush, introspective, and melodic experience rather than a high-energy dance track. Early pioneers include Mr. Fingers and Frankie Knuckles.

Funky House is an energetic and feel-good subgenre of house music that emerged in the late 1990s and early 2000s, characterized by its heavy incorporation of disco and funk elements.

It's essentially a vibrant blend of the four-on-the-floor beat of house music with the soulful grooves, brass, and basslines of 1970s and 80s funk and disco.

Melodic House & Techno is a subgenre that blends the deep, driving rhythms of techno with the emotional, arpeggiated melodies of house. It's defined by its progressive, hypnotic nature, often featuring soaring synthesizers, atmospheric pads, and a consistent 4/4 beat. The focus is on creating a narrative-like experience, with tracks that build tension and release it through rich, evolving harmonies and intricate sound design 

Organic House is a subgenre of electronic music that blends traditional house rhythms with natural, acoustic, and often downtempo elements. It's characterized by its use of organic sounds like wooden percussion, flutes, and ethnic instruments, creating a warm, earthy, and often melodic atmosphere. Unlike the more synthetic and abrasive sounds of some electronic music, Organic House is known for its deep, emotional, and soulful feel, making it perfect for mindful listening, sunset sessions, and intimate dance floors.

Tracks are often longer than traditional house songs and feature layered, melodic structures with subtle transitions. This genre moves away from the simple repetition of classic house, focusing instead on building tension and releasing it through a series of dramatic sonic shifts. Artists like Sasha and John Digweed helped to define this style.
